A NOTE TO YOU

If you’ve ever found yourself in a season where you felt uncertain about who you are or where you’re going, I want you to know you’re not alone.

Leisure & Light was born from my own season of stillness—a time when I felt lost and longed for something gentle and faith-filled to lean on. My prayer is that this space can be that for you: a reminder that God is near, that beauty can rise from the hardest moments, and that you are becoming in ways you may not even realize yet.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You only have to take the next step—and trust that even in the waiting, you are exactly where you need to be.

With love,

Lena

The Beauty in Letting Go

5 Reminders on the Beauty in Letting Go

1. "To everything there is a season..." - Ecclesiastes 3:1

What falls away now is preparing you for what's next.

2.  Release is not weakness—it’s trust.

When you let go, you show faith in God’s plan more than your own control.

3.  Empty hands are open hands.

You can’t receive what God has for you if you’re clutching what’s behind you.

4.  Even endings can be holy.

The tree doesn’t mourn the leaves—it trusts the cycle of renewal.

5.  Peace follows surrender.

Sometimes the weight we feel isn’t life being heavy, it’s us holding on too tightly.

Cozy Read

There’s something sacred about October. The air feels different, the leaves begin their slow descent, and the world seems to whisper a gentle reminder: letting go can be beautiful. In life, release isn’t always easy—it often feels uncomfortable, even painful—but it is necessary. Just as the trees don’t resist shedding what they no longer need, we are invited to trust God enough to lay down the things that weigh us down.
