Leisure & Light was born from my own season of stillness—a time when I felt lost and longed for something gentle and faith-filled to lean on. My prayer is that this space can be that for you: a reminder that God is near, that beauty can rise from the hardest moments, and that you are becoming in ways you may not even realize yet.

A Short Prayer
God,
Help me release what I was never meant to carry.
Gently guide my attention back to You when it drifts.
Help me choose You again, even in the midst of uncertainty.
Amen.
I’ve learned that peace doesn’t disappear all at once. It fades quietly when we begin asking people, outcomes, or circumstances to carry what only God can. Not because anything dramatic happened, but because I noticed how easily my attention shifted away from God and toward what felt lacking, uncertain, or unfinished.
This reflection is about returning, not restarting. About choosing God again not after everything makes sense, but right in the middle of the unknown.
